Read More	ARCHER, Frank – DEATH CAUSED BY HEART ATTACK – Frank Archer, son of Elijah and Martha Archer, was born in Chelsea township, Fillmore county, Nebraska, March 13, 1886. He passed away suddenly at his home in Geneva, Neb., December 6, 1948, at the age of 62 years, 8 months and 23 days. Mr. Archer had been away from his work since Saturday, but was feeling better an expected to be up an around in a day or so. He died suddenly at 3 p. m. of a heart attack. It was in this vicinity he received his education and grew to manhood. September 6, 1905 he was united in marriage to Stella B. Davis of Sterling, Neb., and to this union were born two sons, Merl E. and Francis O. Archer. Mr. Archer engaged in farming for several years but decided to take up barbering. He entered this training and completed his work from the barber school in Lincoln in 1923. He sat up his first practice in Alexandria, where he remained for twelve years. In December, 1934, he and Mrs. Archer located in Enid, Okla., and here he continued his profession until October, 1942, when he was called to Geneva to take care of the shop of his son Merl, who had been called into the service of his country. Mr. Archer had remained here since and after the son's return from the service they continued in the business together. It was here he established himself in his home community and served his friends, who had become friend because he too, knew the value of friendship. His genial personality will be greatly missed by those who knew the warmth of his constant courtesy and manner. His very brief illness and sudden passing were a shock to the entire community. While in Enid, Okla., Mr. Archer united with the Christian church of that place. Mr. Archer was one of six children born to the Elijah Archer family. One sister died in infancy. A sister, Laura Loomis, passed away in 1942 and another, Mrs. Rose Lightbody of Geneva, in October 1947. There remain besides his wife and two sons and their wives, a much loved little granddaughter, Patricia Sue Archer, one sister, Annis Anderson of Geneva, one brother, John L. Archer of Cairo, Neb., a number of nieces and nephews, other relatives and a wide circle of friends. The funeral was held from the Kritner chapel and was in charge of Rev. Maude V. Mann.
