The body will lie in state here at the Gass Funeral chapel Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.after which it will lie in state at the family home. Mr. Stevenson died early Monday morning at St. Mary's hospital, following a lingering illness. Son of the late J.V. and Martha Halstead Stevenson, he was born June 11, 1872 at a farm home near Richland and lived there his entire life. His marriage to Anna K. Yonker took place Oct 6, 1898 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Shell Creek. Mr. Stevenson was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church north of Schuyler. Survivors are: his widow; four children; Mrs. Earl (Ruth) Kluck of Richland, Clyde F. of Arcadia, Calif., Walter H. of San Pedro, Calif., and Mrs. Richard (Angeline) Delang of Long Beach, Calif.: one brother, Burton of Arkansas: eight grandchildren and great grandchildren.
