Kinney Funeral services were held at the Methodist church, Sunday, April 15, for Frank E. Kinney. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery. Rev. Paul J. Johnson conducted the services. Pallbearers were Gus Wagner, Gordon Wagner, Aaron Helpin, W. J. Devoss, Lloyd Kinney and George Kinney. Kinney was born April 7, 1865 to Aaron and Mary Etta Kinney at Vandalia, Michigan. He moved to Nebraska with his parent and lived on a farm near Wolbach. July 25, 1889, he was united in marriage with Olive Van Wert at Albion and to this union four sons were born. Mr. Kinney farmed for mnay years in Nance County. He was also a carpenter and operated a harness shop in Wolbach for a time. In 1919 the family moved to Spencer where Mr. Kinney farmed until 1945, he then retired and moved back to Wolbach. Mr. Kinney had been in failing health for the past year. He passed away April 12, 1951, at the age of 86 years and 5 days. He was preceded in death by three sons Elmer, Howard and Walter. His survivors are his wife, Olive, a son Albert of Wolbach. Two grandchildren, Leonard Kinney, of Spencer, Nebraska, Mrs. M. C. Copple of Grand Island and three great-grandchildren, one brother Charles Kinney of Denver and many nieces and nephews. [.....Out of town funeral attendees...]
