The York services were held at the Odd Fellows Home with Rev. R. Miller officiating. The services at Wolbach were held at the Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Paul J. Johnson. Obituary - Mrs. Olive Kinney was born Aug. 16, 1868 to Mr. and Mrs. John Van Wert, on a farm in Loda, Illinois. She passed away December 28, 1951 at the Odd Fellows Home at York, Nebraska at the age of 83. Mrs. Kinney was the 9th child of a family of 11. She moved to Fullerton, Nebr. with her family as a girl and was a pioneer school teacher of Nance County, Nebr. She was teaching at Cedar Valley at the time of the big blizzard of 1888. Olive Van Wert and Frank Kinney were married at Albion, Nebraska, July 25, 1889. To this union 4 sons were born, two sons passed away in infancy. Mr. and Mrs. Kinney spent most of their married life farming. Their first farm was near Wolbach, then in 1919, they moved to Spencer, Nebr., where they lived until 1945, when they retired and moved back to Wolbach. Mrs. Kinney had made her home at the Odd Fellows Home the last four months before her death. She was a member of the Methodist church, Rebecca Lodge, and Royal Neighbors of A. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons, Elmer, Howard and Walter and brothers and siters. The survivors include one son, Albert of Wolbach, one sister, Mrs. S.
