Wilson, 76, Sylvia, formerly of Huron, died at the University of Kansas Medical Center. he formerly owned thee Huron Grain Co. and was a former manager of the Farmers Union Co-op at Lanscaster. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at the Stanton chapel with the Rev. William Tillman of Prairie Village officiating. Burial will be in the Huron cemetery. Victor Harden, Lester Chalfant, Albert Buttron, Carl Matthias, Walter Schwarzer and Donald Lanter, members of the Huron Masonic lodge, will be pallbearers. Mr. Wilson was born May 23, 1896. at Huron, a son of james Edward and Louisa Culpepper Wilson. He and the former beulah Dunham were married June 16, 1919, at Webb City, Mo. He owned the Huron Grain Co. from 1936-1946, and was manager of the Farmers Union Co-op at Lancaster several years until he retired in 1948. He later became manager of the Co-op at Sylvia and worked there until 10 years ago. Mr. Wilson was a member of the Sylvia Methodist church and of Huron Lodge No. 72 AF & AM. HE served in the army during World War I and for a time was in France. He always took a active pare in civic and church affairs in the communities where he lived. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1969. Surviving are Mrs. Wilson of the home; a daughter, Mrs. W. L. (Dorothy) Slentz, Prairie Village; two sons, Daniel Wilson, Durango, Colorado., and Frank W. Wilson, Lawrence; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Martin, Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Thelma Martin, Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Eva Howe, Council Bluffs, Ia.; a brother, Arch Wilson, Lancaster, and eight grandchildren.
