Frank, son of John and Mary Lammers was born January 27, 1867 at St. Helena. All of his life was spent in Cedar county. He was married to Anne Willenbring at Constance June 12, 1894. He served on the school board for 45 years. He was a member of St. John the Baptist church. He is survived by his wife, Anna; seven children, Barney of Los Angeles, Calif., Miss Margaret of Hartington, Mrs. Edward (Helen) Wieseler of St. Helena, Fred of Fordyce, Mrs. Louis (Elizabeth) Stevens of Hartington, and Ludwig and Gerald of Hartington; four brothers, Joe of Fordyce, I. A. of St. Helena, A. J. and Alphonse of Hartington; and three sisters, Mrs. Frank Heine of Yankton, Mrs. Carl Bruening of St. Helena and Mrs. P. J. Kaiser of Milwaukee, Wis. Also surviving is Mrs. John O'Conner of Appleton, Wis., formerly Margaret Schulte, whom they raised. Two sons preceded their father in death. +++ St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1909-2009, Fordyce, Nebraska, page 100 FRANK AND ANNA (WILLENBRING) LAMMERS Frank Lammers wsa born January 27, 1867 at St. Helena to John and Mary (Stratman) Lammers. He attended school at St. Helena. Anna Willenbring was born in Germany, June 13, 1869, to Joseph and Elizabeth (Buschelman) Willenbring. The Willenbring family came to America in 1870 and settled near Constance. She attended school at Constance. Frank and Anna were married June 12, 1894 at Constance. They were the last couple married in the old school chapel. They were the parents of nine children: Bernard, Margaret, Helen, Fred, Elizabeth, Roman, Ludwig, Arthur and Gerald. Frank and Anna were members of St. Joseph parish at Constance until St. John's in Fordyce was started when the became Charter members. Frank died October 12, 1950 at age of 83 and Anna died July 7, 1957 at age 88. Written by Roger Lammers
