Description	:	Frank Lyman Thayer was born December 18, 1892, at Nora, Nebraska, the son of John Windsor and Mary Thayer. He was married to Mary Witcraft on April 7, 1921, at Nelson, Nebraska. To this union were born one son, Cleo LaVerne who now resides in Ruskin. Mr. Thayer became a member of the Nora Christian Church being baptized at Nelson on November 18, 1925. He later transferred his membership to the Nelson Christian Church and remained an active member to his death. He spent his entire life in the Nora vicinity, where he farmed. He was married to Mary Witcraft on April 7, 1921, at Nelson, Nebraska. To this union were born one son, Cleo LaVerne who now resides in Ruskin. Mr. Thayer became a member of the Nora Christian Church being baptized at Nelson on November 18, 1925. He later transferred his membership to the Nelson Christian Church and remained an active member to his death. He spent his entire life in the Nora vicinity, where he farmed. Mr. Thayer passed away March 24, 1965, at his home near Nora. He was preceeded (sic) in death by his parents, three sisters, Mary Jones, Dura Williams and Edith Williams and one brother, Arthur Thayer. He is survived by his wife and son and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Cleo Thayer, one brother, George Thayer of Nora and one sister, Blanche Browning of Savannah, Missouri. In addition he leaves many nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Services were held at the Christian Church in Nelson on Saturday, March 27, with Victor Schwarz officiating. Pallbearers were Raymond Statz, Elmer Jones, Floyd Rouse, Chester Shipman, H. McAdamson (sic) and Charley Anderson. Interment was in the Superior Cemetery (sic).
