FRANK MONAGON Frank Monagon, a well-known resident of this community, passed away at his home here Saturday, December 22, at the age of 72 years. FRANK MONAGON Frank Monagon, a well-known resident of this community, passed away at his home here Saturday, December 22, at the age of 72 years. He was born at Malone, New York, February 28, 1855, and at the age of twenty-two came to Humboldt, Nebraska. About four years later, in 1881, he came to Pawnee county and with the exception of eight years spent in Kansas, he lived the remainder of his life in this county. On November 12, 1884, he was united in marriage to Miss Mary McClintock. To this union were born three children, Mrs. Florence Hanson and Arthur Monagon of Pawnee City and Claude Monagon of Peru, Iowa. These, with their mother, mourn the loss of the loved one. Five grandchildren survive their grandfather. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, December 24, at the home at 2 o'clock and interment was made in the Pawnee City cemetery in charge of Rev.
