Description	:	Frank W. Schroeder, 90, Kenmare, formerly of Tolley, died Tuesday. Funeral Saturday at 2 p.m., chapel of Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Kenmare. Burial Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Tolley, in the spring. Mr. Schroeder was born Dec. 8, 1891, in Acoma Township, near Hutchinson, Minn. Mr. Schroeder was born Dec. 8, 1891, in Acoma Township, near Hutchinson, Minn. At age 9 he came to North Dakota with his parents who homesteaded near Tolley. He was reared in the area, and in 1922, married Mathilda Anderson at Tolley. She died in 1971. Mr. Schroeder was active on various McKinney Township boards in Ward County, serving as township supervisor and on the election board for many years. He also farmed in the area and was a director of the Tolley Elevator. In earlier years at Tolley, he and his three brothers performed as a quartet on wind instruments at church and social functions. He also played in the Tolley Community Band. He had a strong interest in sports and recreation, and played amateur hockey until age 44. He was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Tolley, and sang in the church choir for 50 years. In 1971 he moved to Kenmare. Survivors: daughter, Doris Schroeder, Kenmare; brother, Hugo, Ferndale, Wash; sister, Mrs. Ruth Weigel, Norfolk, Neb.
