Description	:	Francoise was born in Sluice Point, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. She lived there until her marriage to Francois LeBlanc. She went by either Frances or "Fanny" -- that was her nickname. Heather Olson, one of Francoise's great-great granddaughters, recalled that her father Alfred Olson talked about one of his great grandmothers being named Fanny, and that he never understood why one would want to have a name like that. He did not know that her name was actually Francoise. Many Census records from Canada list her as Fanny rather than Frances or Francoise.	Francoise was born in Sluice Point, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
