Mr. Peick was born at Littleport on May 23. 1887, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Peick. Sr. He was graduated from Elkport High School in 1903 and later he attended Upper Iowa University. He then went to Highland Park College of Pharmacy in Des Moines, from which he graduated in 1906. He worked in a drug store at Enterprise, for a time and in 1907 his parents bought the drug store here from the late F. W. Royden and their son came to the store as registered pharmacist. He continued in that capacity until the death of his father a few years ago. since which time he assumed the full management. On April 5, 1908. he was married to Miss Leo Glazier, who survives with two children. Pauline of Edgewood and Gayle of Alta; and his mother. For many years he was an active member in the Knights of Pythias lodge. He also had served the village as mayor and as councilman. He was a member of the Community and Commercial clubs. Preceding him in death were his father, and two sisters.
