Description	:	Dayton Review September 22, 1976 Services held for Fred Jebron Funeal services for Fred Jebron, 100, Dayton, were held Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Dayton United Methodist Church. Rev. William Cotton conducted the 1:30 p.m. services. Interment was in the Dayton Cemetery. Arrangements were completed by the Carson Funeral Home, Dayton. Mr. Jebron passed away early Thursday morning, Sept. 16, at Trinity Regional Hospital. He had been a patient there for several days after falling at his home and breaking a hip. Mr. Jebron passed away early Thursday morning, Sept. 16, at Trinity Regional Hospital. He had been a patient there for several days after falling at his home and breaking a hip. He had been in ill health in recent years. Vocal selections were presented during the service by Ed Longworth accompanied by Leona Benson. Caring for the flowers were Mrs. Roberta McIlvain and Mrs. Don Slater. Pall bearers were Dean Rydman, Dennis Tollerud, Cornelius Jebron, Jr., John Bolton, Brian Thompson and Steven Bolton. Honorary pall bearers were Arnold Sandholm, Bryon Johnson, Kingsley Clark, Thomas Butrous, Joe Butrous and Charles Butrous. Surviving are the widow; sons, Raymond, Dayton; Cornelius, Duncombe; daughers, Mrs. Edward Rydman, Fort Dodge; Mrs. Wayne Tollerud, Des Moines; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. Helen Corey, Brazil. Mr. Jebron was born in Syria and came to the United States and the Fort Dodge area in 1901. He married Biddewee Butrous in 1918 at Sioux City. The couple farmed in the Dayton area until Mr. Jebron retired in 1960 and the couple moved into Dayton. Note: Gravestone is inscribed with a birth year of 1876, however, all other records have the birth year as 1887.
