She was born September 28, 1923 in Nippa, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Minerva (Castle) and Beecher Music. Freda moved from Kentucky to Springfield, Ohio, where she met and married her husband of 32 years, DeWitt C. Poore in 1954. DeWitt passed away in 1986. She was born September 28, 1923 in Nippa, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Minerva (Castle) and Beecher Music. Freda moved from Kentucky to Springfield, Ohio, where she met and married her husband of 32 years, DeWitt C. Poore in 1954. DeWitt passed away in 1986. She was employed and retired from the Masonic Home. In addition to her husband and parents, Freda was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her three children, Linda (Lowell) Howard of West Van Lear, Kentucky, Dixie (Randy) White, and DeWitt C. Poore, Jr. (Carol Frank-Fiancée), all of Springfield; five grandchildren, Tammy (Brian) Williams of Ashland, KY, Mary Howard, Janette (George) Hayden, all of West Van Lear, KY, Daniel White, and Rebecca White, both of Springfield; three great-grandchildren, Miranda (Brandon) Litteral of Flatwood, KY, Jaxson White, and Dallas White, both of Springfield; three brothers, James Music of West Virginia, Gilbert Music, and Dilbert Music, both of Nippa, Kentucky; and one sister, Lilian Sadler of Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
