ARTHUR MORAN. FAIRFIELD.–Mrs. Freda Olga Moran, 61, died at 5:30 a.m. Monday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harold Leppo, in Des Moines. She was born in Germany and her maiden name was Giese. The family came to the United States when she was a girl. She was married in Mt. Pleasant March 21, 1911, to Arthur, Moran, who died January 4, 1947, in Ottumwa. They had lived here a number of years and he was an employe of the highway commission. They later moved to Ottumwa. Besides her daughter she is survived by a brother, Ernest Giese of Lockridge; and three sisters, Mrs. John Fitzwater and Mrs. Neil Stallman of Fairfield and Mrs. Elsie Wright of Ottumwa. She was a member of the Lutheran church here. She had spent the last three years in Des Moines. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoskins funeral home. Dr. Edward A. Piper will officiate. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery in Ottumwa.
