The Lord, in His divine wisdom, summoned the soul of this child to Himself, Saturday, August 14, 1943, at the age of 3 years, 11 months, and 4 days. Frederick was an obedient child and showed evidence of faith which he received from the Holy Ghost in the sacrament of baptism. Read More	TRAUTMAN, FREDERICK DAVID — Frederick David Trautman was born to Ephraim Trautman and his wife, Ethel Mary, nee De Jung, September 10, 1939. The Lord, in His divine wisdom, summoned the soul of this child to Himself, Saturday, August 14, 1943, at the age of 3 years, 11 months, and 4 days. Frederick was an obedient child and showed evidence of faith which he received from the Holy Ghost in the sacrament of baptism. His early passing is mourned by his parents, his two sister, Betty Marlene and Linda Mary, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the family home at 1:30 p. m. followed by services at Grace Evangelical Lutheran church in Geneva at 2 p. m. Tuesday, August 17. Rev. E. A. Brelling officiated. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. Card of Thanks We wish to thank everyone for the kindnesses shown us at the time of our bereavement. MR. AND MRS. EPHRAIM TRAUTHMAN AND FAMILY AND GRANDPARENTS. ALSO: A sad accident occurred just before noon Saturday, when Frederick David, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Trautman was fatally injured when kicked by a horse. The Trautman family lives on the Shaner farm near Martland. The horses were in a pasture and the boy and his little sister got through a hole in the fence into the pasture while playing. The boy received a fatal kick on the back of the head. Mrs. Trautman noted the children’s absence in a very short time and found them in the pasture. The girl was unharmed. She put the boy in the car and took him to where Mr. Trautman was helping a neighbor thresh. They rushed the boy to Dr. Delfs, but life was extinct when they arrived.
