Description	:	F. William Evers, a resident of Crawford county since 1882 died at the Denison Memorial hospital on Monday, Sept. 4 (1967). He had entered the hospital on Sept. 1. Frederick William Evers, son of Peter H. Evers and Marie (Mueller) Evers, was born Sept. 14, 1873 in Germany. At the age of nine he came to America and lived in Crawford county with the exception of two years spent in Montana as a young man. He was married to Joachine Rahn on March 1, 1899. William Evers, a resident of Crawford county since 1882 died at the Denison Memorial hospital on Monday, Sept. 4 (1967). He had entered the hospital on Sept. 1. Frederick William Evers, son of Peter H. Evers and Marie (Mueller) Evers, was born Sept. 14, 1873 in Germany. At the age of nine he came to America and lived in Crawford county with the exception of two years spent in Montana as a young man. He was married to Joachine Rahn on March 1, 1899. To this union four children were born. They farmed for a short time in Milford township, then in Goodrich township where they resided until coming to make their home in Denison in 1928. Mrs. Evers died on Jan. 27, 1966. Mr. Evers was baptized in infancy in Germany and later joined the Zion Lutheran church in Denison by the rite of confirmation. Funeral services were held here on Sept. 7 at 11 a. m. with Rev. Carl W. Schmidt officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Fred Rabe as organist with hymns being sung by the Lutheran Ladies Choir. Interment was made in the Oakland cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Wilmer Denker, Derald Evers. Don Eyler, Melvin Holdsworth, Ralph Vogt and Virgil Winquist. Survivors include two sons, Edward and William of Denison and one daughter, Mrs. Rosa Denker of Denison, 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren as well as a brother, Detlef of Visalia, Calif.
