Description	:	Funeral services for Joachine Wilhelmine Rahn (Mrs. F. William Evers), were held Saturday, Jan. 29 at the Zion Lutheran church with Rev. Carl W. Schmidt officiating. Mrs. Fred Rabe served as organist with hymns sung by the Lutheran Ladies' choir. Daughter of John and Sophie (Becker) Rahn, she was born in Goodrich township, Crawford county on April 8, 1878 where she grew to womanhood. On March 1, 1899, she was married to F. Mrs. Fred Rabe served as organist with hymns sung by the Lutheran Ladies' choir. Daughter of John and Sophie (Becker) Rahn, she was born in Goodrich township, Crawford county on April 8, 1878 where she grew to womanhood. On March 1, 1899, she was married to F. William Evers and to this union four children were born. After their marriage, they farmed for two years near Deloit; then moved to Goodrich township, where they farmed until retiring to make their home in Denison in 1928. She was baptized in infancy and later confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Denison. She had been bedfast for nearly three years and on Dec, 22 was taken to the Denison hospital where she died on Jan. 26 (1966). Preceding her in death were her her parents, an infant daughter, Dorthea, one granddaughter, two great-grandchildren, one brother and three sisters. Survivors include her husband, two sons, Edward and William of Denison, one daughter, Mrs. Rosa Denker, Denison; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Derald Evers, Delmer Denker, Robert Rank, Ralph Vogt, Virgil Winquist and Melvin Holdsworth.
