On March 25, 1913 she was united in marriage to Carl Floy and their union was blessed with 8 children. Etta lived in Thornton most of her life and was active in community affairs-including 4-H and Farm Bureau work. 7 years ago she moved to the nursing home in Clear Lake, and there she spent her remaining years."
