| Description | : | Friedericka Siefert was born in Germany to a very wealthy family who lived in a castle. She fell in love with the gardner (Johann Andreas Hagemann) and they ran away to be married in 1857. Her family disowned her. Before they left for America, their son, Herman, ran through the forest to tell the Sieferts they were leaving. All was forgiven and they stuffed money in his jacket for the family.
