Burial will be at the Berwick Cemetery. Garold was born on February 11, 1923 in Mercer, MO to Ralph and May (Ellis) Kint. He grew up in Allerton, IA and lived on the east side of Des Moines for many years before moving to Bondurant four years ago. Burial will be at the Berwick Cemetery. Garold was born on February 11, 1923 in Mercer, MO to Ralph and May (Ellis) Kint. He grew up in Allerton, IA and lived on the east side of Des Moines for many years before moving to Bondurant four years ago. He worked for Ruan Transportation for 41 years and, after retirement, drove for Baumburger & Sons Trucking and O'Halloran International. Spending time with family and friends was always an enjoyment. The grandchildren were very special to him He enjoyed woodworking, golf and was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Green Bay Packers. He and his wife traveled extensively throughout the US and Canada. Garold is survived by his wife, Ruby of Bondurant; three daughters, Judy Frazier of Bondurant, Janie (Ron) Samuels of Apple Valley, MN, and Jolene (Mark) Radke of Ankeny; five grandchildren, Russ Frazier, Drew Samuels, Amy Samuels, Jordyn Radke, and Kyle Radke; four great grandchildren; sister, Lenora Marolf of Clio, IA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Allen Samuels; brothers, Eldie and Eldon Kint; sister, Irene Hursey; and one great grandchild. Friends may call after 3 pm Friday at Iles Funeral Homes-Grandview Park Chapel where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
