Description	:	Gary W. Goodrich, 76, died suddenly at home near Camdenton, Missouri, on Sunday, January 10, 2016. He was born on October 21, 1939, in a rural farmhouse near Brooklyn. He graduated from BHS in 1957, and was educated in electronics with four years in the U.S. Navy, then in Dallas, Texas. Gary worked in seismic exploration for Mobil Oil in the Gulf a few years. He then designed electronic circuit boards for prominent computer and medical companies, including NASA. He married Karen Carmichael Karr in 1994, and became an electronic tech for the U.S. Postal Service at the processing center in St. Louis. After retirement, they moved to Lake of the Ozarks and maintained a second home in Brooklyn. He is survived by his wife, Karen, and her three sons, Bradley (D’Ann), David (Jo Beth) and Clayton (Mary Beth) and six grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Joan Hall, and a brother Marvin (Annette), all of Brooklyn, and a sister-in-law, Marlou Goodrich, of Ankeny. He leaves behind extended family. Gary was proceeded in death by his parents, Marion and Florence Goodrich, an only son, Gary Wayne, Jr., from a previous marriage, a sister Mary Jane Heishman (Virgil), two brothers, Jim and Lewis Goodrich and a brother-in-law, Roger Hall. A Memorial Celebration will be held on May 14th at the Michael J. Manatt Center in Brooklyn. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Memorial Ceremony at 11 a.m., with lunch following. Cremains will be buried in the Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery.
