Rev. James B. Rea officiated. Interment was in the Brooklyn cemetery. Florence Marie Bartachek Goodrich, daughter of Joseph and Gusta Martens Bartachek, was born Jan. 28, 1916 in Brooklyn. Florence Marie Bartachek Goodrich, daughter of Joseph and Gusta Martens Bartachek, was born Jan. 28, 1916 in Brooklyn. Mrs. Goodrich received her education in the Brooklyn School. On Jan. 26, 1933 she was united in marriage in Brooklyn to Marion Garrettson Goodrich. She lived all of her life in the Brooklyn area. She operated the Flomar Restaurant for 10 years and they farmed for many years in this area. Mrs. Goodrich was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Francis Gallagher American Legion Post #294 Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Marion; two daughters and their husbands, Joan and Roger Hall of Malcom and Mary Jane and Virgil Heishman of Brooklyn; three sons and their wives, Lewis and Marlou Goodrich of Panora, Gary and Karen Goodrich of St. Louis, Mo., and Marvin Goodrich of Brooklyn; John Rupe of Grinnell who resided with the Goodrich family while attending high school; 23 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Goodrich was preceded in death by her parents' one son, James; two brothers, Fred and Edward Bartachek; and two grandchildren.
