Funeral services for the twin boys will be held in the Lutheran church this afternoon and will be conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Carl Ericson. Stratford Courier February 11, 1937 Obituary Jean Ralph Bergman James Harold Bergman A tiny coffin held the remains of James Harold and Jean Ralph, two infant sons of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bergman, at the the funeral services held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the Lutheran church. A prayer service was held at 1:30 o'clock in the Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Rose home and both services were in charge of the Rev. Carl S. Ericson, pastor of the Lutheran church. Mrs. Clifford Barquist and Miss Ellen Anderson sang, "Jesus," "Beyond Our Sight" and "Beautiful Isle," with Mrs. Martin Hall as accompanist. The remains were interred in the South Marion cemetery, the pallbearers being George Holley, Raymond Swanson, Dean Wahman and Wayne Wahman. The twin sons were born to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bergman Dec. 12, 1936 and were well and healthy babes until they contracted flu and then pneumonia which caused their deaths, Jean Ralph succumbing on Jan. 31 and his brother on Feb. 1. Left to mourn are the sincerely bereaved parents, one sister and other relatives. Card of Thanks We extend our sincerest thanks to those who assisted us during the illness and death of our twin boys.
