Description	:	Mrs. Eileen Desch, 61, 925 N.W. 6th Shorey, died Friday at a Topeka hospital. She was born July 24, 1920 at Topeka, the daughter of Dewey and Nellie Stewart Head. She attended Seaman and Topeka high schools and lived in Topeka most of her life. Mrs. Desch worked at Kaw Valley State Bank and Trust Co., for 17 years. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, Women of the Moose Lodge No. 555 and Artist Associates, all of Topeka. She married Francis J. Desch in November 1940. He died Aug. 9, 1979. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Judy Alexander, 5232 N.W. Kendall; a son, John E. Desch, 10453 S.W. K-4; three brothers, William Head, Garden Grove, Calif.; Robert Head, Topeka, and Donald Head, Overland Park; and four grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Assumption Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Topeka. Mrs. Desch will lie in state after 5 p.m. Saturday at Davidson-Duff Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday.
