Read More	Eva Della Sweet, daughter of Sherman and Geneva Sweet, was born in Fillmore county, Nebraska, October 6, 1890. She departed this life June 4, 1967, at the age of 76 years, 7 months and 29 days. She was united in marriage to Zadok C. Stephenson, January 28, 1914. To this union were born five children, Leslie and Robert of Fairmont, John of York, Mrs. Orville (Darlene) Hafer of Geneva and Mrs. Frank (Jean) Whitemore of McCool. Preceding her in death were her husband; a daughter-in-law, Violet Mae and a grandson, Michael John. Mr. Stephenson passed away August 23 1960. Mr. and Mrs. Stephenson spent their entire married life on the farm southeast of Fairmont. As a young girl she sought the guidance of the church and united with Grace Methodist of Fairmont June 16, 1907 and held membership for nearly 60 years. Her life was devoted to her home and family. She has been an inspiration to her children and a source of joy and happiness to her grandchildren. Surviving are her five children, three daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law; 19 grandchildren; one sister, Sylvia Brown of Lincoln; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the Kritner Farmer Funeral Home i Fairmont Wednesday, June 7, at 2 p.m., Rev. Paul W. Walker officiating. Pallbearers were grandsons Garold Stephenson, Edward Stephenson, James Stephenson, Stephen Whitemore, Richard Hafer and Donald Hafer. Interment was in the Fairmont cemetery.
