Hope cemetery beside his parents, (obituary) George Andrew Geiser, son of Jacob and Barbara Geiser, was born in Creston, Iowa, January 12, 1878, and passed away in Norfolk, Nebraska on June 16, 1955 at the age of 78 years, 5 months and 4 days. He came to Nebraska with his parents at the age of ten and lived in Sargent until he was 29, when he went to Norfolk. He was married to Bradie Carpenter in 1901, and to this union was born one son, Walter, who preceded him in death. He was baptised in the Lutheran church in Creston, Iowa. He leaves to survive him two grandchildren, Mrs. (Dale) Twila Speihs of Grand Island and Walter (Buddy) Geiser of Cook; two sisters, Mrs. Leland Amos of Port Richmond, California, and Mrs. Ella Scriber, Hastings; two brothers, Wilber of Arnold and Jess of Orange, California, and many relatives.
