Description	:	George Domer died in North Manchester of inward dropsy Aug. 12, 1878, aged 61 years, 1 month and 13 days. He was born near Shanesville, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, from whence at the age of 22 he came with his brother-in-law to Noble County, Ind. In the spring of 1843 he was married to Caroline Stienbarger and settled on 160 acres of land which he purchased near the present site of Wawaka. Read More	George Domer died in North Manchester of inward dropsy Aug. 12, 1878, aged 61 years, 1 month and 13 days. He was born near Shanesville, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, from whence at the age of 22 he came with his brother-in-law to Noble County, Ind. In the spring of 1843 he was married to Caroline Stienbarger and settled on 160 acres of land which he purchased near the present site of Wawaka. Here he cleared nearly one hundred acres of heavy timber such as characterized Noble County, and here it was that he received the germ of sickness which led to his death. In 1856 his wife died, leaving him with 5 children, the youngest being a little more than 4 months old. He was afterward married to Lydia Culler who had 3 children at the time of marriage and by whom 2 children were born to them after their marriage. He spent about 4 years in Kansas and Missouri but returned in 1874 to Kosciusko County where he resided until he removed to North Manchester last Oct. He was a member of the German Baptist Church for near 30 years. He leaves a widow and 7 children. MILITARY: George DOMMER fought in the War of 1812, went in as a private in Capt.
