He was the beloved husband of Adeline Ada "Addie" Stickney Mardin, married June 1, 1879 in Northumberland NH. Addie was born July 1861 Coos, NH. the daughter of Marshall D. Stickney and Emeline Perkins. They divorced in 1900 and she married second Joseph N. Messer on June 7, 1901 and George Henry married second Emma George on May 25, 1901. Henry was living with his son Marshall Bert and his wife Annie and their children in 1920, at that time a widower. George Henry and Addie had two sons: George Henry Jr. at Memorial 182901425 And Marshall Bert Mardin, attached below. And two daughters: Emma B. Mardin (Jefferson NH July 1885 to Aug 31, 1886, passed away of Cholera) AND Susan Ann "Susie" Mardin who married (Ruiter), (Morse), (West). George Henry Sr. was a stone mason by trade. He was a resident of Belknap, Laconia NH for ten years at 85 Winnisquam Ave., just a couple of blocks from the lake, where he enjoyed boating and fishing. Henry went to be with the Lord on July 18, 1940. He was laid to rest at Union Street Cemetery, on July 21, 1940. His burial was arranged by his daughter Susie. Note: The year of his birth was 1860 and his stone was inscribed incorrectly as 1869. His birth record lists 1860 and death record lists a birth of 1869. Both records have his parents name on them, Jesse and Diana. His death record was typed up incorrectly, resulting in the wrong date on his grave marker. He is also found in 1860 census with his family, at that date a baby, 4 months and 12 days old. Finally, note his marriage record date and his age at time of marriage. In same cem. is his brother, Jesse Emery Marden. Although the name originated as Mardin, this family uses both the spelling Mardin and Marden.
