VALENTINE, 67, DIES; RITES ARE MONDAY. George M. Valentine, 67, died at his home in Washington Township Thursday evening about 6:30 following a stroke. A life-long resident of Pickaway County, Mr.Valentine was born in Washington Township, February 3, 1873, the son of Amos L. Valentine and Catherine Myers Valentine. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nora Valentine, a daughter, Miss Bertha, living at home, a son, Francis, Threwsbury, New Jersey, and a brother, Amos M., of Stoutsville. One grandchild also survives. Mr. Valentine was a member of the Circleville Knights of Pythias Lodge, the Washington Grange and the Stoutsville Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stoutsville, Rev. George Troutman of Circleville officiating, with burial by Defenbaugh in Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville. Friends may call at the residence after 6 p.m. Friday until the time of the service."
