Description	:	Mr. George T. Handy was one of the best known men in Crisfield, and one for whom everybody had the warmest regard. His integrity was unquestioned, his loyalty beyond price, and his manner was the courtly manner of a gentleman of the old school. Mr. Handy, who was 82 years old, was the son of the late Thomas Handy and Retta M. Handy, and had lived within walking distance of Crisfield all his life. He had long been a member of Mariner's M. Mr. Handy, who was 82 years old, was the son of the late Thomas Handy and Retta M. Handy, and had lived within walking distance of Crisfield all his life. He had long been a member of Mariner's M. P. church, where he attended services regularly. Funeral services were held at Mariner's M. P. church on Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, the pastor, Rev. W. C. Mumford being assisted by a former pastor of the church, Rev. McCowan, and interment was made in Crisfield cemetery. The pall bearers were: Edward Morgan, Benjamin Sterling, Early Lane, James Handy, William Daugherty and Charles Cannon. Mr. Handy is survived by his widow, Mrs. Manie O. Handy, by one daughter, Mrs. Ava Hoffman, of Norfolk, Va., one son, Elmer Handy of this city, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Connor.
