Description	:	OBITUARY, George Tjark Riemann, son of Tjark J Riemann and Ettje Janssen Lolling, was born May 30, 1890 in Barton Co. Kansas.He was baptized Nov. 20 of the same year and reaffirmed his baptismal at Le Mars Iowa. At a later time he became a member of St. John's Lutheran Church west of Barneston, Ne. Mar. 29, 1915 he was united in marriage to Edith Brown. To this union 4 children were born. Read More	OBITUARY, George Tjark Riemann, son of Tjark J Riemann and Ettje Janssen Lolling, was born May 30, 1890 in Barton Co. Kansas.He was baptized Nov. 20 of the same year and reaffirmed his baptismal at Le Mars Iowa. At a later time he became a member of St. John's Lutheran Church west of Barneston, Ne. Mar. 29, 1915 he was united in marriage to Edith Brown. To this union 4 children were born. Despite the loss of a limb, Mr. Riemann had been in relatively good health and had remained on the farm west of Barneston until 1962 at which time he decided to move into Barneston. March 29th of this year, Mr. and Mrs. Riemann enjoyed the privilege of celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary, surrounded by their loved ones and friends. A short time ago he began to feel the effects of a stroke. His condition became worse and he was taken to the hospital, where he passed on after falling into a coma on Thursday morning October 7, 1965. He had reached the age of 75y 4m 7d. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Margaret (Mrs. Elmer Trauernicht) and a her infant son, also his father and mother, 6 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his faithful wife, Edith, 2 daughters: Frances (Mrs. John Erdmann) of Commerce City Co., Maxine (Mrs. Harold Trauernicht) of Odell Ne, one son, George Riemann, Jr. of Barneston, also 3 son-in-laws; 1 daughter-in-law; 10 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren, 3 brothers and 1 sister. ( Tjark, Ted, Grant and Etta Riemann) Died Oct. 7, 1965 Burial Oct. 10, 1965, O.L. Zeilinger, Pastor.
