He married Sarah Allen, daughter of John Allen of Salem New Hampshire Sept 19, 1833 in Salem and had three children: George Stanton Rogers who died 1881, Hamilton K. born Feb 28, 1837, and Annie L. born March 27, 1844 who married Henry Noyes. In 1850 George W. was age 53 in Rumney NH with wife Sarah 43. He was farming and they had three children George S. 15, Hamilton K. 13 and Anna L. 6. All in the household were born in New Hampshire. Sons George S. was born 1835 and died 1881; Hamilton K. born Feb 28, 1837 married Addie E. Fales in 1876 and had two children Willie H. and Walter M. Daughter Annie L. was born March 27, 1844 and married Henry Noyes Dec 31, 1871 and had one son Allen R. born April 9, 1875. Burial in the Rogers Lot: Addie Eliza Fales 1855-1914; George W. 1796-1864; Hamilton Kent 1837-1903, and Sarah wife of George W. 1807-1895. Note: Memorial for Sarah, wife of George was originally created as buried in Ashland. I am changing burial location to match cemetery list as I have found the two children here in Highland Cemetery.
