Lyman Smith officiated and Sellergren Service was in charge. Born on a farm south of Emerson, Mr. Douglas was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Douglas. He married the former Bessie Ungry in 1908. Mr. Douglas was a member of the Masonic lodge and Methodist church. He had lived all his life in the same community. Surviving are his wife; a son Raymond of Emerson; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Dunlap of Emerson, Mrs. Anna Bellewood of Malvern and Mrs. Charles Crouse of Red Oak. There are 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
