Description	:	Highland Recorder April 17, 1942 George W. Hook died at his home on the Cowpasture April 11, aged 84 years, 10 months, 20 days. His father and grand father also died at the age of 84, Mr. Hook spent all his life on the upper Cowpasture River. He was an honorable, industrious, and peaceable citizen. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Phoebe Hook; two sons. Burton, of Wheeling, W.Va, and Sandy at home; one daughter, Mrs. Ocie Price of Deerfield, Va.; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held from Bethel Methodist church, where he worshiped for many years.... Read More	Highland Recorder April 17, 1942 George W.
