Funeral services are set for 9:30 a.m. Monday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic church, Krakow, with burial in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Stefan Flisiak will officiate. His body will lie in state after 3 p.m. Sunday at McKown Funeral Home, Silver Creek, where the rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. Sunday, by Holy Name Society, and at 8 p.m. by the parish. Son of the late Anton and Kathryn Urkoski, he was born April 15, 1876 in Poland. He married Vera Liss at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Duncan, on Feb. 12, 1906. They farmed in Nance and Merrick Counties. Mr. Urkoski was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, and Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife; nine children; 32 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Sons are Charles and Steve of Fullerton; Martin of Silver Creek; Louis and Phillip of Clarks. Daughters are Mrs. Mary Kula of Silver Creek; Mrs. Joe (Rose) Prososki of Duncan: Mrs. Frank (June) Stachura and Frances Urkoski of Columbus. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Andrew, John and Peter of Clarks and one sister in Poland. Columbus Telegram Tuesday, October 19, 1971, Columbus, Nebraska Rites Held - Funeral services for George Yrkoski, 95, Clarks, were held Mondaoy at Sts. Pete and Paul Church, Krakow, Fr. Stefan Flisiak officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery. Members of the Holy Name attended in a group. Pallbearers were six grandsons, Edwin Kula, Eugene Kula, Harry Prososki, Edward Kula, Marvin Yrkoski, and Cliff Yrkoski. Acolytes were also grandsons. McKown Funeral Home of Silver Creek was in charge of arrangements.
