Further visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Yrkoski was born on Nov. 17, 1918, in Nance County to George and Veronica (Liss) Yrkoski. He was educated in rural Nance County schools and Sts. Peter and Paul Parochial School at Krakow. He worked in the Omaha packing houses for a time before returning to Nance County, where he had farmed since. He enjoyed playing baseball as a youth and was an avid fan in later years. He was an active member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Clarks. Survivors include three brothers, Louis of Clarks, Steve of Fullerton and Phil of Silver Creek; and four sisters, Mary Kula and Frances Yrkoski, both of Silver Creek, Rose Prososki of Duncan and June Stachura of Columbus. He was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Yrkoski.
