Description	:	MRS. GEORGIA STALDER Mrs. Georgia Stalder, wife of the late Fred Stalder, passed away Tuesday evening, November 14, 1972, at the Rosary Hospital In Corning, Iowa. She was born May 14, 1887 in Platt City, Missouri. After moving to Iowa, she spent her life in Adams County. The last few years she made her home in the Corning Rest Home. She was a member of the Mt. GEORGIA STALDER Mrs. Georgia Stalder, wife of the late Fred Stalder, passed away Tuesday evening, November 14, 1972, at the Rosary Hospital In Corning, Iowa. She was born May 14, 1887 in Platt City, Missouri. After moving to Iowa, she spent her life in Adams County. The last few years she made her home in the Corning Rest Home. She was a member of the Mt. Zion church for many years. After the closing of this little church, she became a member of the Brooks Methodist Church. On May 18,1910, she was married to Fred Stalder with whom she celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary in 1960. They became the parents of eight children. She was preceded In death by her husband, Fred, on September 16, 1965, an infant daughter, and a son Melvin who died at the age of 28. She leaves to mourn three daughters: Mrs. Marion (Clarissa) Wallace, Mrs. Dean (Leona) Kester and Mrs. Paul(Evelyn) Hardisty; three sons: Edgar, Leo and Alvin; 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one brother, J. D. Roberts; three sitters, all of Villisca, Mary Hudnut, Eva Leiner and Alice Neal, as well as a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services Funeral services were held at the Roland Funeral Home in Corning, Nov. 18 at 1:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. Paul Williams. Interment was In Methodist Grove Cemetery, south of Brooks. Music was by Mrs. Marvin Fuller. Pallbearers were Harold Voggesser, Wade Scholey, Earl Dean Roberts, Albert Hedinger, Dale Stalder and Jim Stalder.
