Description	:	Mrs. Geraldine Marie (Kittle) Robinson age 96 formerly of 309 Hice Street in Belington departed this life Thursday April 5, 2012 at the Hospice of The Valley, Sun City, AZ. She was born July 3rd 1915 in Barbour County a daughter of the late Andrew M. and Vianna B. (Hornbeck) Kittle. On June 24, 1933 she was united in marriage to Russell Eugene Robinson who preceded her in death on January 12, 2005 after 72 years of marriage. Read More	Mrs. Geraldine Marie (Kittle) Robinson age 96 formerly of 309 Hice Street in Belington departed this life Thursday April 5, 2012 at the Hospice of The Valley, Sun City, AZ. She was born July 3rd 1915 in Barbour County a daughter of the late Andrew M. and Vianna B. (Hornbeck) Kittle. On June 24, 1933 she was united in marriage to Russell Eugene Robinson who preceded her in death on January 12, 2005 after 72 years of marriage. She is survived by one Son Charles Robinson and wife Dana of Sun City, AZ, with whom she made her home for the past four years, two daughters Patricia “Pat” Nangle of OH, Sue Lewis and husband Rev. Greg Lewis of Belington, WV, and two sisters Violet House of OH, Agnes Kelly of Belington. She is also survived by ten grandchildren Sherry Grund, Tim Robinson, Rodney Baston, Gwen Simone, Robin Baston, Ann Nangle, Terrie Ware, Natalie Combs, Kimberly Walters, Nicole Parkinson, and several great grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death one daughter Vera Baston, two brothers Everett “Plum” Kittle, (infant) Maxwell Jr. three sisters Edna Landow, Lorena June Skidmore and (infant) Anna. Mrs. Robinson attended the schools of Barbour County. She was a homemaker and in her former year’s she and her husband Russ owned and operated a farm near Belington. Geraldine was no stranger to hard work; alongside of her husband she equally shared the daily necessary duties of farm life. In the early 1940’s she worked for a short time at the Twin Coach Company in Kent, Ohio during WWII. She liked crocheting and needle work, quilting, bowling and flower gardening and her favorite time of year was the spring time. Geraldine was a faithful member of the Westside United Methodist Church in Belington where she was very involved with the choir and the United Methodist Women’s group. She will be missed by all of those who knew her, and we are assured that her faith has ushered her into the presence or her savior Jesus Christ. Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington, WV Interment will follow in the Sugar Creek Cemetery. Greg Lewis officiating with the assistance of Judy Flynn.
