Description	:	Russell Eugene Robinson, 91, a resident of 309 Hice St. in Belington and more recently a resident of the Talbott Personal Care Home in Belington, departed this life 10:35 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at the care facility. He had been in declining health for quite some time. He was born June 1, 1913, at Belington, a son of the late Bradford Luther and Bertha Francis Ramsey Robinson. On June 24, 1933, he was united in marriage to the former Geraldine Marie Kittle, who survives at their home in Belington. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Charles Bradford Robinson of Sun City, Ariz.; two daughters, Patricia Ann Nangle of Rootstown, Ohio, and Charlotte Sue Lewis of Belington; two half sisters, Irene Ross and Lucille Bean; four half brothers, Lee Jay, George Lee, Clyde Franklin and Bradford Jr. Robinson; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepmother, Odia Cross Robinson; one half sister, Margaret Mulson; two brothers, Dorsey and Doilee Robinson; three sisters, Icy Lambert, Izora Theilen and Maudell Fields; and one daughter Vera Ruth Baston. He attended the Sugar Creek School House, and was a farmer for most of his adult life. He had also worked in the construction trade, belonging to the International Union of Operating Engineers, AFL-CIO and for a period of time was the chief of police in Belington. In his youth, he attended the Sugar Creek United Methodist church, and was presently a member of the Westside United Methodist Church in Belington. Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington . Services will be conducted with the Rev. Greg Lewis and the Rev. Rose “Jo” McCartney officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Creek Cemetery.
