Description	:	Geraldine is the daughter of William & Elizabeth White. Her family moved to Oshkosh, Nebraska, when she was two. She graduated from Garden County High School in 1942. After high school, she moved to Idaho and then to Denver working for the telephone company. In 1944, she joined the United States Marine Corps and served for 15 months, being discharged at the end of World War II. After discharge she returned to the Denver and Idaho areas. She married Donald B. McCormick on July 1964 in Idaho and moved to Lewellen and then on to the family farm east of Oshkosh.... Read More	Geraldine is the daughter of William & Elizabeth White. Her family moved to Oshkosh, Nebraska, when she was two. She graduated from Garden County High School in 1942. After high school, she moved to Idaho and then to Denver working for the telephone company. She married Donald B. McCormick on July 1964 in Idaho and moved to Lewellen and then on to the family farm east of Oshkosh. She worked hard on the farm helping her husband, tending large gardens, raising chickens, square dancing and being involved in her 4 children's lives. In her later years she enjoyed playing bridge and card games with her family and friends. She spent many hours researching genealogy. She also enjoyed studying her Bible at the kitchen table, working crossword puzzles, crocheting, embroidery and playing solitaire. She spent many years at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, attending Bible study circles and serving on many committees including Sunday school superintendent. She gave her life to Christ in Christian Baptism on September 12-1985, and became a member of the Garden County Church of Christ until.
