Description	:	Daughter of Fred Ulrich Jr. and Matilda Rinne. She was baptized in 1922 and confirmed in 1937 at Salem Evengelical and Reformed Church near Steinauer, NE. She attended Lewiston High School. She lived at home and cared for her parents until her mother's death in 1954. She then worked in Chicago in a Children's home, and then in Lincoln, NE. as a home health caretaker. She entered nurse's training and graduated as an R. During 1963-64 she was a missionary nurse to Turkey with the United Church Board World Ministries. She was a staff nurse at Homestead Nursing Home in Lincoln from 1964-66. A nursing supervisor at Tabitha Home in Lincoln from 1972-80, and an evening nursing supervisor at Homestead Nursing Home from 1980 until her retirement in 1987. She traveled around the world. The last 4 years she lived at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh, NE. Preceeding her were her parents, by a sister Matilda Arnold and 5 brothers: Frederick, Walter, Edwin, Otto, and Leonard. and by 3 nephews: Ernest Ulrich and wife Linda of TX. Don Ulrich and wife Jean of NE. and Fred Arnold of NE. and by 3 nieces: Marie Ulrich Hope and husband Harry of TX. Linda Ulrich Murphey of NE. and Ruth Ulrich Beethe and husband Howard of NE. Funeral services held at the Salem United Church of Christ, rural Steinauer, NE. Jan. 22, 2011. Interment in the church cemetery. Wherry Mortuary of Tecumseh, NE. was in charge of arrangements.
