She was born Jan. 4, 1915, at rural Cherokee, to James Walter and Edith Irene Brown Clugston. She attended local schools in Cherokee and graduated from Crawford Community High School at Cherokee in 1934. She was born Jan. 4, 1915, at rural Cherokee, to James Walter and Edith Irene Brown Clugston. She attended local schools in Cherokee and graduated from Crawford Community High School at Cherokee in 1934. She went to Pomona, in September 1949 to visit relatives and found employment as a switchboard operator for the First Interstate Bank of Pomona and worked for 30 years retiring in 1980. She married Wallace "Wally" Twogood on Nov. 9, 1951, in Pomona. He preceded her in death in July 1992. She continued to live in Pomona until December 1996, when she moved back to Pittsburg to be near family. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Pittsburg. She was a former member of the 20th Century Sunday school class at First Christian Church and the Senior Citizens of Pittsburg. She is survived by nieces, Edith Scott and Frances Pyle, both of Pittsburg, whom help provide for her care and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold and Ward CLugston; and three sisters, Ruth Werner, Jessie Mae Galbraith Sheward, and E. Pauline Murray Bacon. Services will be 7:30 p.m. today at the Brenner Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Jim Ward officiating. The family will receive friends frim 6:30 p.m. until service time at the Brenner Mortuary, where friends may call after 1 p.m. today. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Cherokee City Cemetery. Friends are requested to meet at the cemetery for the graveside services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. Fourth St., Pittsburg.
