Barker of Dorchester, Mass., died yesterday in Boston. She was a daughter-in-law of the late Dr. Christopher F. and Helen Peckham Barker of Newport, and had always lived in the Boston area. She leaves two sons, James S. Barker of Concord, N.H. and Robinson F. Barker of Sewickley, Pa; a daughter Mrs. Cynthia Cormak of Rowayton, Conn., and nine grandchildren. She was born in Boston and her father was a very successful practicing physician in Boston until his health compelled him to give up his practice. Dr. James T. Sherman died June 1916. Gertrude married in Boston September 17, 1910, Dr. Williston Wright Barker, who was also the son of a well known practicing physician of Newport, RI., Dr. Christopher F. Barker. Dr. & Mrs. Williston Barker were the parents of 4 children, of which a son, Lieutenant George Leverett Barker preceded his parents deaths when he was accidentally killed in 1944. ________________ The only child not linked to parents is as follows: Robinson Franklin Barker Born: 20 Dec 1813 - Boston, Mass Died: 28 May 1998 - Sewickley, PA
