Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mills Community Church, Mills. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Mills. Arrangements are under the direction of Kotrba Funeral Home, Gregory. She was born on March 12, 1925, at home near Brocksburg, Neb., to Gilbert and Olive (Rowan) Gates. They lived near Brocksburg for two years before moving to Martin for two years and then back to the Mills area. She attended school in Mills and Gates, Neb.; attended Broken Bow (Neb.) High School for two years and then Springview (Neb.) High School, graduating in 1943. She taught school for three years at Mills, Brocksburg and Riverview, Neb. On Dec. 6, 1947, she married Clayton Ritterbush in Lincoln, Neb. She and her husband worked the family farm and she kept the books for the operation, using the computer in later years. She is survived by her husband, three sons: Roger, Atkinson, Neb.; and Bruce and Scott, both of Mills; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. ill be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Mills.
