Description	:	Gladys Raske 1908 – 2001 Gladys Raske, 92, of Miller, died Wednesday, April 25, 2001, at the Prairie Good Samaritan Center, Miller. The funeral service was held Monday, April 30, at the First United Methodist Church, Miller, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Gould officiating. Burial was in the G.A.R. Cemetery, Miller. Read More	Gladys Raske 1908 – 2001 Gladys Raske, 92, of Miller, died Wednesday, April 25, 2001, at the Prairie Good Samaritan Center, Miller. The funeral service was held Monday, April 30, at the First United Methodist Church, Miller, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Gould officiating. Burial was in the G.A.R. Cemetery, Miller. Gladys Falkenhainer was born August 26, 1908, at Ree Heights to Charles and Anna (Suhn) Falkenhainer. She spent her entire life in Campbell Township and attended Campbell School all her school years. She married Everett Raske December 31, 1934 in Pierre. For a short time they lived in Hyde County when they were first married. She farmed and ranched with her husband all her life. In 1968, they retired and moved to Miller. She loved to have her grandchildren and great-grandchildren come, and she was always cooking for someone. She enjoyed her garden and flowers, and her Tuesday neighborhood coffee groups in town. Gladys and Everett loved to go camping. She was a longtime member of the Willing Workers Extension Club. Survivors include her husband, Everett, of Miller: four daughters, Arlene (Robert) VanDerWerff of Miller, Maxine (Keith) Boersma of Beaverton, Ore.; Donna (Jim) Dixon of Stanton, Neb., and Glenis (Carl) Fratzke of Beaverton, Ore.; 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; one step great-grandson and one step-great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Esther Lusk of Highmore; and one brother, Carl of Bothell, Wash.
