Born in Gore, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late William and Maude (Davis) Gill. Gladys loved cooking in her kitchen, playing bingo and playing cards. She worked as a seamstress at Sears and then worked as a cook at Barrett Lumber Co., for many years from where she retired. Born in Gore, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late William and Maude (Davis) Gill. Gladys loved cooking in her kitchen, playing bingo and playing cards. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Wendy; grandson, Shane; sisters, Thelma, Ruthie and brother, Harold 'Huddie'. Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Hwy. 354, Kennetcook, Rev. Natalie Buchanan- Rutherford officiating with a private family burial in St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada, St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery or charity of choice.
