Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 23, at Calvary Foursquare Gospel Church in Tipton. A memorial fund has been established in her memory. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 23, at Calvary Foursquare Gospel Church in Tipton. A luncheon will be served following the services at the church. Burial will be in Tipton Masonic Cemetery, Tipton, Iowa. Gladys Maedene Ehresman was born July 30, 1935, in Cedar County, the daughter of Oliver Grover and Eleanor Lavina (Albaugh) Ehresman. She graduated from Tipton High School with the Class of 1953. She married Gregory Scott Taylor on July 10, 1953, in Tipton and were later divorced. She was employed as a cook for the Tipton High School for 34 years and a cook for Dairy Queen in Tipton for 10 years. She also worked at Oral-B for two years and the Tipton Maid-Rite for 15 years. She was a lifetime member of the Calvary Foursquare Gospel Church, where she served in many capacities. She is survived by two daughters, Gwendolyn Kay (Samuel) Fratt of Burlington and Teresa Rene Taylor of Tipton; one son, Michael Scott Taylor of Leawood, KS; five grandchildren, Justin, Amanda, Jordan, Christian and Carson; two great-grandchildren, Jettison and Wylder; and one brother, Glenn (Mercy) Ehresman of Barstow, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her ex-husband, one sister and one brother. Fry Funeral Home
