Description	:	Gladys Bundrock, 100, Roslyn and formerly of Webster, died Dec. 24, 2008 in a care center in Roslyn. Memorial services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Fiksdal Funeral Chapel at Webster with the Rev. Jan FitzGibbon officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Webster Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Gladys Fortin was born Aug. 5, 1908 to Meddie and Lucille (Berrie) Fortin at Turton. She attended country school and at the age of 8 moved with her parents to Waubay where she attended school. she worked in Waubay at various jobs. June 14, 1925 she married Elmer Bundrock at Waubay. After their marriage, the couple make their home in Waubay where she worked for the theater. In 1956, she opened the Waubay Café and operated it for eight years. In 1964, she sold the café and the couple moved to Webster where her husband became chief of police She also worked at Bain's Café for many years. Her husband died in 1968. After his death, she continued to live in Webster until she entered Strand-Kjorsvig Community Rest Home in July of 2000. She was a member of the American Lutheran Church in Webster and was a former member of the Waubay American Legion Auxillary. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Don. Survivors include one daughter, Darlene Peterson of Watertown; two grandson; and three great-grandsons
