Mr. Rodman was born Dec. 29, 1921 on his family farm located near Neal, Kan., to the late Arlie Dean and Pearl May Box Rodman. His early education was at the Tonovay School, then came to Wichita to attend Wichita Business College. Upon graduation, he began his career as an integral part of Hobb's Chevrolet, where he began following the ambition of his life, to work and help people. He was activated in WW II and continued his military service as a member of the 89th Army Reserves. In 1954, Mr. Rodman established his long known career in the insurance business as a local independent agent, which he devoted his life to, along with his wife, Mary. In addition, he worked and maintained his farm located near Eureks, Kan. He will be remembered as a devoted, honest, hard working and caring person to his family, friends, customers and business associates. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Rodman; three brothers and one sister. Survivors: sons, Glen Jr. of Wichita, James of Goddard; daughter, Marilyn Corbin of Wichita; brother, James of Toronto, Kan.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Memorials established with St. Jude's Children Research Hospital and Shriners Childrens Hospitals. (Taken from The Wichita Eagle.)
