Read More	Highland Recorder May 1, 1931 Glenn Andrew McCoy, whose death was briefly mentioned in the last issue of the Recorder, departed this life April 28, 1931 at the age of 15 years 3 months and 6 days, he was called from this stage of action right in the bloom of youth, and then too we are reminded that in the midst of life we are in death, he called members of the family to his bedside a few hours before he died, and told them to meet him in a better place, surviving are his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ed McCoy, 4 brothers, Lester who lives nearby, Morris, Marvin and Bryan at home also 2 sisters, Olgie of Berryville Va. and Mary Vaiden at home. Funeral services were conducted from the Doe Hill Methodist church Thursday at 11 o’clock by the pastor Rev. W. W. Stevens assisted by Rev L M. Moffett and Rev. M. J. Craun. Quite a large crowd attended the funeral. His class in the McDowell school attended in a body. Burial took place in the Doe Hill cemetery.
